Hi Loves! What an interesting week I have had. So where do I even start?! After spending months and months, trying to decide if a blog was the right path for me, I finally decided to take a baby step towards an idea. I am so excited to share with you this secret place I have been working on in the background of my life.
My weakness.
Full disclaimer, I am great with expressing myself through pictures, video, and design, but to be honest I normally suck with words (lol). So naturally, I am very apprehensive about the amount of writing required to make this place worth your while. So, my promise to you is that I am going to try my very best to offer real, raw, and honest content. With that being said, there may be spelling errors, smiley faces, emojis, gifs, and more, so please have grace in this space and forgive me in advance. This is not a place for perfection, but a place where we can all feel safe to share our struggles, failures, and imperfections along side all of the pretty. All I can assure you is that this is me. Completely imperfect. And that’s just the way I like it!
So how did all this start?
Well, I am completely obsessed with so many blogger babes I follow on Instagram. Whenever I’m having an off day, I pop into my beautifully curated Insta world, to scroll pretty profiles in efforts to spark inspiration. There is such a power in a pretty place! I try to hard to soak up those much needed creative endorphins from content creators and story tellers across the web. This creative inspiration is my fuel and it is crucial for me to use in my full time business. Branding Addicts, a boutique design studio built for creative bosses in business, is where I spend the majority of my free time. Having a pretty space of my own allows me to have a personal platform to channel my creativity in ways that I just can't with my business. In addition having another creative outlet, because I own my own branding business, it is so important for me to have a personal platform where I can share my favorite bosses and brands to my favorite peeps. This was when I finally decided to take the step.
And that’s why you are here! I would love to invite you in this journey, from the beginning on this here blog of mine.
How would I describe my style?
Modern mixed with Farmhouse. My definition of a modern farmhouse style, is a little bit of modern (clean lines, crisp, minimal, glam, luxury) mixed with a touch of farmhouse (comfy, cozy, rustic, organic, authentic, personal, homey). To me this looks like shiplap walls, rae Dunn mugs, coffee in pajamas, neutral colors, flowers, fluffy pillows, thick sweaters, trendy heels, and chunky knit throws.

YES, exactly like those pier one commercials, where the little trinkets flirt and talk you into buying them. Those are the feelings I love.

When your drawn to something and you don’t even know why. Those scattered pieces... those details in life that whisper to your soul. These are the things I crave! The type of details that so often get lost in the busy-ness that consumes our daily lives.
I want to bring you to a safe space.
A comfortable place that you will crave to visit. I want to bring you back to the cozy details of life that whisper pretty, peaceful, cozy, cute, fun, real, and inspirational.
So Girl, if you are starting to feel at home, get those glasses ready (coffee or reading) and put those slippers on. Curl up and enjoy these precious little pieces of my life!
